Two suspects sought in Brooklyn cellphone and credit card theft

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are searching for two unidentified individuals who allegedly stole a cellphone containing multiple credit cards from a man inside a commercial establishment in Sunset Park. The theft occurred on Thursday, June 13, at approximately 2:10 p.m. at 4803 5th Avenue.

Authorities said the suspects approached a 36-year-old man and took his cellphone before fleeing the scene on foot. The individuals’ identities remain unknown, and their current whereabouts are unclear.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and police have not disclosed whether any fraudulent transactions have been made using the stolen credit cards.
