Two suspects sought in Newark smoke shop theft

NEWARK, Del. — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men wanted in connection with a shoplifting incident that occurred in July at the All In One Smoke Shop on East Main Street. The theft, which took place on the evening of July 11, 2024, involved three individuals who distracted the store clerk while stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise.

According to authorities, video surveillance footage helped identify two of the suspects as Stephan Lloyd, 28, and Savion Whyte-Douglas, 22. Arrest warrants have been issued for both men, charging them with Theft – Organized Retail Crime and related offenses. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

A third suspect, Dahmir Lewis, 26, was arrested on September 19, 2024. Lewis, who is already incarcerated in Delaware on unrelated charges, appeared before Justice of the Peace Court #2 via video and was ordered held on $4,000 secured bail.
