Two suspects wanted in daylight armed robbery and shooting on georgia avenue

WASHINGTON, DC – D.C. Metro Police Department detectives from the Fourth District are actively seeking two individuals connected to an armed robbery and shooting incident that occurred in a local business.

On March 27, at around 2:57 p.m., two armed suspects invaded a business located in the 5100 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, demanding property and money from those inside. Following the victims’ compliance, one suspect discharged a firearm, injuring one individual. The perpetrators then absconded with the stolen goods and cash. The injured party was later hospitalized with severe injuries.

Surveillance equipment in the vicinity captured images of the assailants.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects’ identities or details of the crime to refrain from intervening directly and instead contact the police at (202) 727-9099, or send a tip via text to 50411.
