Unidentified Man Shot Multiple Times on 52nd Street in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A fatal shooting occurred in the 19th District on the Unit block of N. 52nd Street at approximately 7:50 PM. The victim, identified only as “John Doe,” an adult Black male, sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.

He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by police, where he was pronounced dead at 8:05 PM.

At this time, no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made. The Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
