MANHATTAN, N.Y. — Police are searching for two individuals who robbed a 58-year-old man at gunpoint early Friday morning, April 25, near East 86th Street and Third Avenue in the Upper East Side.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:35 a.m., when the victim was walking in the area and was approached from behind by two unidentified males. One of the suspects pointed a firearm at the victim while the other forcibly removed cash from his pants pocket, according to the NYPD. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was not injured during the robbery. Authorities are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved.

The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing dark eyeglasses, a white shirt, gray hoodie, tan pants, and black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a dark camouflage hoodie, white shirt, camouflage pants, and blue and black sneakers.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and canvassing for additional witnesses. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
