UTICA, N.Y. – The Utica Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate the owner of a white and black pit bull found near the intersection of Gray Avenue and York Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone who recognizes the dog or has information about its owner is encouraged to contact the Utica Police Department at 315-223-3461.

Authorities are working to reunite the animal with its owner as quickly as possible.
