Versace heist at Boston Macy’s as suspects bolt toward subway
Boston, MA — A retail theft at a downtown Boston department store has police searching for two suspects accused of stealing high-end merchandise before fleeing toward a busy transit hub.
The incident occurred April 21 at Macy’s on Washington Street, where store loss prevention staff reported that two men entered the location and took four Versace gift sets.
According to investigators, the suspects exited the store and headed toward the Orange Line entrance at Downtown Crossing Station.
Police described one of the individuals as a light-skinned male in his 30s wearing a black hoodie with a skull graphic, a black jacket with “LUXE LEGACY” on the back, black pants with a skeleton design, and black and red Jordan sneakers.

Detectives assigned to District A-1 are reviewing the case and have released images in an effort to identify the individuals involved.
