Veterans Golf Tournament at Hammock Dunes a Success

November 13, 2023

FLAGLER COUNTY, FL – Sheriff Rick Staly, along with key members of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, attended the Hammock Dunes Cares Veteran’s Golf Tournament recently. The event, organized by the Hammock Dunes Men’s Golf Association, was a platform for Sheriff Staly to provide updates on the Sheriff’s Police Athletic League (PAL) and its upcoming collaboration with the Carver Gym to support youth in South Bunnell.

Joining Sheriff Staly were PAL Director Deputy Erlandson, K-9 Master Deputy Dawson, and members of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Explorers. This gathering underscored the commitment of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office to community engagement and youth development.

The partnership with the Carver Gym is part of the Sheriff’s ongoing initiatives to provide positive support and activities for young people, particularly in underserved areas. By offering such programs, the Sheriff’s PAL aims to foster a supportive environment for youth, encouraging their growth and development.
