Five suspects caught on camera after brutal group robbery on H Street
Washington, DC — A violent robbery unfolded late Tuesday night on a busy Northeast corridor when five suspects attacked a pedestrian, beat them to the ground, and stole their belongings before fleeing the scene.
The assault occurred around 10:05 p.m. in the 600 block of H Street NE, as the victim was walking alone. One suspect initially struck the victim, knocking them down. All five suspects then continued the assault while the victim lay on the ground, ultimately stealing property before escaping on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

The Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance images of the suspects and is asking the public for assistance in identifying them. The individuals were captured on nearby cameras shortly before and after the incident.

Investigators have not yet disclosed what was stolen or whether the robbery appeared targeted or random. The incident adds to a growing list of group robberies under investigation across DC neighborhoods in recent weeks.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible. The suspects remain at large.
