WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for multiple suspects accused of luring a victim into a Southwest Washington apartment building before carrying out an armed robbery inside the building early in the morning.

Investigators said the victim first met one of the suspects outside before entering an apartment building together.

After exiting an elevator onto an unknown floor, the victim was suddenly confronted by three additional suspects, police said.

During the robbery, one of the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded property while telling him to “give it up.”

Authorities said the suspects stole the victim’s belongings before forcing him into the building lobby and fleeing back inside the complex.
