Man sought after early-morning stabbing in Southwest DC

Washington, DC – A stabbing is under investigation in the 1500 block of 1st Street SW after police responded to a report of an assault early Friday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:48 a.m. on December 26. Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District arrived on the scene and began an investigation. The condition of the victim has not been released, and no further details have been provided at this time.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a Black male, approximately 5’8″ tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with a slim build and curly hair. He was last seen wearing green shoes and a green and blue jacket.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
