VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on August 25, 2024, on General Booth Boulevard.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of General Booth Boulevard at approximately 8:44 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the driver of the motorcycle, Christopher Wright, 42, of Virginia Beach, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests that this was a single-vehicle crash.

The VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
