Virginia Beach Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash on General Booth Boulevard

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on August 25, 2024, on General Booth Boulevard.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of General Booth Boulevard at approximately 8:44 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the driver of the motorcycle, Christopher Wright, 42, of Virginia Beach, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests that this was a single-vehicle crash.

The VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the crash to contact the Traffic Safety Unit at (757) 385-4606.
