Congers, NY — Emergency crews are responding to a water main break Sunday afternoon in the Congers area, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 23 Bluebird Drive at approximately 7:20 a.m., where they confirmed a water main had ruptured.

Police said Veolia Water has been notified of the break and is responding to the scene to assess the damage and begin repairs.

Authorities have not announced whether the break has affected water service or caused any road closures in the area.
