West Springfield Man Wins “Lucky for Life” Prize, Secures $25,000 a Year

June 23, 2024

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA—Jacky Huang from West Springfield has secured a life-changing prize in the multi-state Lucky for Life game, winning $25,000 a year for life. His winning ticket matched the first five numbers in the June 10 drawing, paving the way for a prosperous future.

Huang claimed his prize on June 20 at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester, choosing the annuity option which grants him $25,000 annually before taxes. He played a combination of personal dates—his own birthday, his sister’s, and his uncle’s—to land the winning numbers.

He intends to use his winnings to fund college tuitions for himself and his sister, adding a significant boost to their educational pursuits. His winning ticket was purchased at County Liquors in Southampton, which will receive a $5,000 bonus for its role in selling the lucky ticket.
