OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME – On June 30th, 2021 at approximately 0033hrs, Officers of the Old Orchard Beach Police Department responded to the area of Temple Avenue and Saco Avenue for the report of a domestic disturbance. In speaking with a male victim at the scene he indicated that his wife had run him over with her vehicle.
The male immediately transported to Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Based on subsequent investigation the male’s wife identified as Tamara E. Kiernan age 60 of Old Orchard Beach was arrested for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault Title 17-A Section 208-D.1.A (Class B Felony). Tamara Kiernan is currently being held at York County Jail without bail. There were no other subjects reported to be involved in the incident.
It is believed the incident stemmed from a confrontation between the two subjects which began at their residence located on Temple Avenue nearby where the victim was located. This case is currently under investigation. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
