Wilkes-Barre Resident Charged for Protection Order Violation

Wilkes-Barre City Police are investigating a reported violation of a Protection from Abuse (PFA) Order that occurred on June 18th, 2024, at around 7:35 p.m. The incident involved 38-year-old Sujeily Rodriguez-Rivera from Allentown, PA, who is accused of sending several text messages to the victim, a 41-year-old white male from Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The victim reported the alleged PFA violation at the City Headquarters, stating that he received multiple text messages from Rodriguez-Rivera, which breached an active “No Contact” order. Rodriguez-Rivera has been charged accordingly following the report.
