Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department responded to a retail theft incident on Sunday at 6:16 PM. Officers were dispatched to 155 East Northampton Street after receiving a report of theft from store personnel.
According to the report, a female suspect using a motorized wheelchair entered the business and placed a bag of Doritos, a bag of M&M’s, and a Diet Coke into a bag she was carrying. The suspect then left the store without paying for the items.
The police department has indicated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. The age of the suspect is currently unknown.
