Wilkes-Barre Woman Arrested for Assault in Domestic Dispute

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A 26-year-old woman was arrested Sunday night following a domestic dispute on North Washington Street, during which she allegedly struck a man with a metal pipe.

Officers were dispatched to the residence at approximately 10:35 p.m. on September 8, responding to a report of a domestic altercation. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, a 31-year-old man, who reported that an argument had occurred after he expressed a desire to leave the residence. During the altercation, the defendant, Katty Perez, allegedly struck him in the back of the head with a metal pipe.

Perez was taken into custody, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed.
