BAYSHORE, NY – The New York Lottery has announced that one lucky player has secured a third-prize-winning ticket in the Aug 7 Powerball drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Just Gas Only, located at 1400 Brentwood Rd in Bay Shore. That location has sold a prize-winning ticket valued at $50,000.
In the Powerball game, the winning numbers are selected from a pool ranging from one to 69, while the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate pool of one to 26. The highly anticipated Powerball drawing is televised thrice weekly, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.
