It was only a matter of time before the self-righteous extreme left in Washington, D.C. began going after the moderate ranks of the Democrat party. It has been expected to happen for months as the number of Republicans serving in Washington dwindles, Democrats will began eating their own children.
“I’m not surprised when Republicans attack Black women for standing up for human rights. But when it’s Democrats, it’s especially hurtful. We’re your colleagues. Talk to us directly,” Cori Bush said of her colleagues talking indirectly to them on Twitter.
The Democrat Twitter fight was started when radical leftist Democrat Illhan Omar compared America to the Taliban and Hamas, accusing the country of committing crimes against humanity. She even said U.S. crimes against humanity equate to ‘atrocities’.
“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity,” Omar wrote. “We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban.”
Jewish Democrats in Congress said Omar’s comments were offensive and misguided. In response she called them racists and Islamaphobes.
“It’s shameful for colleagues who call me when they need my support to now put out a statement asking for ‘clarification’ and not just call,” Omar replied. “The Islamophobic tropes in this statement are offensive. The constant harassment & silencing from the signers of this letter is unbearable.”
