Woman arrested in fatal shooting of mother of three outside Memphis motel

July 16, 2025

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the February shooting death of a mother of three in a motel parking lot, authorities announced.

Jenae Bradley was taken into custody Tuesday for allegedly killing 29-year-old Terrica Tabor on the night of Feb. 22 in the lot of the Star Lite Inn. The shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. while Tabor was sitting in a parked 2007 Ford Edge with her boyfriend and sister.

According to a criminal complaint, witnesses told investigators that a woman wearing a black hooded coat had been watching the vehicle from a stairwell. She then walked down, approached the passenger side where Tabor was seated, and fired three shots into the car.

The victim’s sister told authorities the shooter shouted, “I told you, b—! I told you!” before fleeing the scene.

Police did not disclose a motive or details regarding how Bradley was identified as the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
