Woman Arrested in Utica Stabbing

Utica, NY – On Sunday, October 27th, at around 11:00 PM, Utica Police responded to Wynn Hospital for a stabbing investigation. The victim reported a domestic dispute at his home, during which his girlfriend allegedly cut him with a knife.

The victim sustained a facial cut and defensive wounds on his hands and arms. After gathering necessary details, officers proceeded to the 900 block of Arnold Ave, where the incident was said to have occurred.

At the scene, police found evidence supporting the victim’s account. The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Taneka Davis, was detained and charged.

Davis faces charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was taken to the Utica Police Department following her arrest.
