Wilkes-Barre, PA – Authorities responded to a call about a disorderly individual on October 9 at 8:32 PM, leading to an arrest on multiple charges. The incident occurred at 30 Hanover Street, with the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department taking action.

Upon reaching the location, police officers found Candise Chulada, 34, of Larksville, PA, reportedly causing disturbances inside the business establishment. Store personnel reported that she was bothering customers, prompting the call to law enforcement. Officers determined that Chulada was visibly under the influence, posing a risk to herself and others in the vicinity.

Further investigation revealed that Chulada had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office. Following her detention, a search led officers to discover suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia in her possession. The officers then transported her to City Headquarters for processing.

Chulada is now in custody and will be transferred to Luzerne County Correctional Facility (LCCF). The incident is recorded under IRC number 240219513, and legal proceedings are expected to follow.
