Officers responding to Hunter Street discovered the victim on North Calvert Street early Friday
BALTIMORE, MD – A woman was found shot to death on North Calvert Street early Friday after Baltimore officers responding to a report of a shooting victim on nearby Hunter Street searched the area and discovered her suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Eastern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Hunter Street at approximately 1:16 a.m.
While checking the area, officers located an adult woman in the 2400 block of North Calvert Street.
Police said she was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics responded and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Baltimore Police did not identify the victim in the information provided.
Investigators also did not disclose the circumstances surrounding the shooting, whether the woman was shot where she was found or what led officers from the initial Hunter Street call to North Calvert Street.
