WASHINGTON, DC — A 62-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman in Southeast Washington, DC, marking a swift development in the city’s latest homicide investigation.

Seventh District officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:31 p.m. on the 700 block of Atlantic Street SE. When officers arrived, they found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.
