Cumberland woman arrested after breaking into vacant home on Pulaski Street
CUMBERLAND, MD – A woman is behind bars after being found inside a vacant residence on Pulaski Street during the early hours of Sunday morning, following a report of a break-in.
Officers with the Cumberland Police Department were called to the 400 block of Pulaski Street on Sunday, November 2, for a suspected burglary. When officers arrived, they noticed an exterior door standing open. A search of the property led to the discovery of 47-year-old Lisa Flor Breiterman of Cumberland inside the home.
Breiterman was arrested on the scene and transported for processing. She was charged with fourth-degree burglary and later taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance. She was ordered held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
Officials have not indicated whether any property was damaged or taken from the residence, which was confirmed to be unoccupied at the time of the incident. No additional suspects were reported.
