INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL – A woman was injured in a shooting that occurred this morning in the central part of the county. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The incident was called in around 7:30 a.m. this morning by someone who reported hearing shots fired.
The woman was taken to an area hospital by her boyfriend. Investigators are looking into a possible third person who might have been involved. More details will be released as they become available.
