Woman shot in back while walking down street in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – On December 21, 2021 at 7:19pm, Columbus Police Patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Sullivant Avenue on the report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the 33-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Victim stated that the incident occurred while walking in the area. She was then transported to an area hospital in stable condition. This incident is still under investigation.
