Woman Shot in Face in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA — A 28-year-old woman was shot in the face early Sunday morning in the 15th District.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:46 AM on the 4700 block of Longshore Avenue. The victim was first taken to Nazareth Hospital by private vehicle and later transported to Temple University Hospital by private ambulance.

No motive has been identified, and no arrests have been made. No weapons have been recovered.

The Shooting Investigation Group (SIG) is continuing to investigate the case.
