Laurie of Grafton selected every number herself before matching all 10 during an Ohio Lottery KENO game at Wolfey’s Bistro & Pub in Elyria
GRAFTON, OH – A Grafton woman picked 10 numbers of her own and watched every one of them hit, turning her KENO wager at an Elyria pub into a $100,006 Ohio Lottery prize.
The Ohio Lottery identified the winner only as Laurie of Grafton.
Laurie played KENO on Aug. 29 at Wolfey’s Bistro & Pub, located at 1069 E. Broad St. in Elyria.
She placed a 10-spot wager and selected her own numbers rather than having them automatically generated.
The winning numbers were 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 29, 37, 44 and 69.
Laurie matched all 10 numbers to win $100,006.
After mandatory state and federal withholdings totaling 26.75%, the Ohio Lottery said she will receive approximately $73,254.39.
KENO allows players to select between one and 10 numbers from a field of 80. Drawings take place every few minutes and can be viewed at participating KENO locations or through the Ohio Lottery app.
The Lottery did not provide information about what Laurie plans to do with her winnings.
