WORCESTER, MA – On July 13th 2021 Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had probable cause that a male in a gray sedan was selling cocaine out of his vehicle in the Main South area of the city.
At about 10:35 AM, Vice Squad officers observed the vehicle in the area of 50 Mill St and stopped it. Officers identified the operator of the vehicle as Tyveil Searcy, twenty-five years old of Hitchcock Rd, and located a large quantity of what appeared to be cocaine in his fanny pack.
Officers also discovered a loaded handgun in the vehicle that was later determined to be stolen.
Mr. Searcy was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking in Class B 37-99 grams, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony, and Receiving Stolen Property. He will be arraigned in court.
