CLAIRTON, PA – Allegheny County Police have arrested Daniel Kelly, 22, of Clairton, in connection with the death of 18-year-old Dorian Serrano.
Serrano was reported missing to the County Police on July 2, 2022.
His remains were discovered on November 17, 2022, near Montour Trail in Jefferson Hills during a search related to his disappearance. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Serrano’s death a homicide.
Witness interviews led detectives to identify Kelly as responsible for the homicide.
Kelly faces charges of criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse, and persons not to possess a firearm. He was arraigned on Monday morning and is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
