17-Year-Old Gunman Arrested for Shooting Four, Killing One

TRIANGLE, VA – A juvenile has been arrested following a fatal shooting incident on the evening of June 3 in the 3700 block of Masthead Trail. The event resulted in one death and multiple injuries among a group of five males.

The 17-year-old suspect, a resident of Triangle, faces charges including one count of murder, three counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of attempted aggravated malicious wounding, and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

He is currently held at the Juvenile Detention Center with a pending court date.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that the shooting stemmed from a previous altercation and an ongoing dispute between the individuals involved. The deceased was identified as a 15-year-old male from Triangle. The other victims include a 16-year-old male, an 18-year-old man, and a 20-year-old man, all also from Triangle.

Detectives are actively continuing their investigation to identify any additional parties involved in this tragic event. The community is urged to come forward with any information that might aid in the ongoing case.
