18-year-old fatally shot at Bladensburg Road restaurant

Washington, D.C. — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot inside an establishment on Bladensburg Road in Northeast DC on Tuesday morning, police confirmed.

The shooting occurred on December 3 at approximately 10:49 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bladensburg Road. Fifth District officers found the victim, identified as Jeremiah Law of Fort Washington, Maryland, unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds outside the establishment.

DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported Law to a local hospital, but he was pronounced dead after lifesaving efforts failed. Investigators determined that the shooting happened inside the establishment before Law was found outside.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
