Cumberland, MD – The Cumberland Police Department served several arrest warrants and criminal summonses this week for various offenses. On Tuesday, Garry Legeer III was arrested in relation to an incident concerning property destruction on November 30. This incident, reported at approximately 3:12 PM, involved slashed tires on a vehicle, which led to charges being filed against Legeer. He posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
Also on Tuesday, a criminal summons was served to Joshua Hoenicka. A private citizen had filed charges of theft under $100 against Hoenicka at the District Court of Allegany County. Hoenicka was released after signing for his summons while awaiting trial.
On the same day, Malik Freeman was served a criminal summons related to a trespassing incident at a business on Greene Street. This incident took place on November 30 around 12:16 PM. Despite Freeman leaving the property when officers arrived, charges were pursued as police confirmed that a no-trespassing letter had been issued to him previously.
Additionally, Jeremy Crosten was arrested on Tuesday for possession of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
