One ticket matched every number in Monday’s drawing

TRENTON, NJ — One New Jersey Lottery ticket just turned into a $2.97 million score after matching all five numbers in Monday night’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing, landing the entire $2,975,145 jackpot in Middlesex County.

The winning numbers were 01, 07, 08, 16 and 21, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The Bullseye number was 07 and the XTRA number was 03.

Jackpocket, a lottery courier service, sold the jackpot-winning ticket. The Lottery identified the winning ticket as being in Middlesex County.

Jackpocket will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The jackpot was not the only money awarded in Monday’s drawing.

Another 111 tickets matched four of the five numbers plus the Bullseye, delivering $500 prizes.

Among those tickets, 27 included the XTRA option, multiplying each $500 prize to $1,500.

Following the $2,975,145 jackpot win, Jersey Cash 5 reset its jackpot to $150,000.

The New Jersey Lottery announcement did not provide additional information about the jackpot-winning player.
