Man Who Climbed Coaster After Sandy Arrested for Threatening to Kill Police

LAVALETTE, NJ – Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr., announced that Christopher Angulo, 46, of Toms River, was charged with making Terroristic Threats During a Declared State of Emergency in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-3a.

On July 22, 2020, Angulo contacted the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and directly made threats that he was going to kill police officers. Angulo had previously made specificthreats against members of the Bay Head Borough Police Department in May 2020, and was charged accordingly at that time.
