Suspect charged during traffic stop after officers find two loaded, stolen guns

FRESNO, CA – Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near E. Saginaw and N. Wishon in Fresno. The deputy approached the car and noticed part of a handgun sticking out from under a passenger seat. The deputy detained the man sitting in that seat, 22 year old Alejandro Tenorio of Fresno.

A search of the car turned up two 9mm handguns. One was fully loaded with a 30 round magazine and was reported as being stolen. The other gun was not loaded and did not have a serial number. Tenorio was booked into the Fresno County Jail on five felony firearms charges , along with a charge of committing a crime while out on bail. His bail is set at $400,000.

The 22 year old woman who was driving was issued a traffic ticket.
