Here’s what Paterson’s Great Falls looks like today after 9 inches of rain dumped by Ida

PATERSON, NJ – The National Weather Service has estimated that as much as nine inches of rain or more has been dumped across North Jersey in the past 24 hours as Tropical Storm Ida passed through. In Paterson, streets were turned into rivers and parking lots were turned into lakes. Paterson is known mostly for its “Great Falls” sometimes called a miniature version of Niagra Falls, located inside the urban center of Paterson.
