DETROIT, MI – Keith Demetrious Taylor, 32, a landscaper, beat his 75-year-old boss after he thought he was being underpaid. The incident happened on Thursday and was captured on video. Taylor is now facing a charge of intent to cause great bodily less than murder.
The 6’3″ Taylor beat his boss, kicking him repeatedly in the head and face until he fell unconscious.
“This brutal and unprovoked attack on a senior citizen shocks the consciousness,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. Police said Taylor had multiple warrants, drug and endangerment convictions.
Authorities said Taylor became irate after seeing his paycheck and believing he had been underpaid.
