FAYETTEVILLE, NC – At 3:09 am, Fayetteville Police officers responded to a shooting at the Island Flava Restaurant and Lounge located at 2000 Owen Dr.
The preliminary investigation revealed two adult victims were shot and taken to the hospital; one by EMS and the other by a personal vehicle. The suspect fled the scene after the shooting. One of the victims has been pronounced deceased at the hospital. The identities of the victims are currently being withheld.
A portion of Owen Drive at this location has been closed while officers investigate the shooting. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
