Patient Wearing Super Mario T Shirt Escaped from Custody in Catonsville

BALTIMORE, MD – A patient who was being treated at the Spring Grove Hospital Center had escaped custody according to the Maryland State Police today.

“At about 1:10 p.m. on Monday, troopers from the Maryland State Police Golden Ring Barrack responded to the hospital, located at 55 Wade Avenue in Catonsville, Maryland for the report of an escape,” the BSP said in a statement. “The escapee, Marquel Quincy Matthews-Jackson, 24, was last seen near the Dayhoff Building on the hospital complex. Matthews-Jackson is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey Super Mario T-shirt, black sweatpants and gray tennis shoes.”

Anyone with information on Matthews-Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Golden Ring Barrack at 410-780-2700.
