SILVER SPRING, MD – Police in Silver Spring are asking the public to help them identify a man wanted for two residential burglaries in April and May in the 1100 block of Ripley Street in Silver Spring.

The Montgomery County Police Department said an investigation by detectives has determined that the suspect forcibly entered two residences and fled the scene.

“Detectives reviewed the surveillance footage in the areas where the burglaries occurred and were able to obtain a description of the suspect. Detectives believe that the same suspect committed the two burglaries,” the department said. “The suspect is described as a Black male, between 20 and 35-years-old, medium build, with long black braids tucked into a black jacket, black pants and black/grey shoes.”
