15-Year-Old on Skateboard Struck by Car in Flemington

FLEMINGTON, NJ – A 15-year-old boy remains in the pediatric intensive care unit, according to police, after being struck by a vehicle on Memorial Day.

According to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Flemington Borough Police Department, authorities are investigating a single-car motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

“The crash occurred at approximately 2:00 am on May 30, at the intersection of Reaville Avenue and Route 202 in Flemington. A 15-year-old male, operating an electric skateboard on Reaville Road, was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 202,” police said. “The vehicle was being operated by Raymond Lozinak, age 61, of Bayonne. The victim was transported by helicopter to Morristown Hospital and remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. No charges are pending at this time.”
