Police searching for suspect who robbed Wilmington McDonald’s restaurant

WILMINGTON, DE – Police are searching for a suspect described as a white male in his 50s who is wanted for robbing a Wilmington McDonand’s restaurant Wednesday night.

According to the Delaware State Police, at around 9:13 p.m., troopers responded to Mcdonald’s located at 1790 W. Newport Pike, Wilmington, for a reported robbery.

“The investigation revealed a male suspect approached an employee and demanded money from the cash register,” DSP said in a statement. “The employee gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who fled the area in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.”


The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit is currently investigating the incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective J.
