Student Arrested for Carrying Loaded Gun on School Grounds

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A 17-year-old student at Central High School was arrested on Monday after bringing a loaded firearm onto school property. The firearm was recovered from the student’s waistband by School Resource Officers, following a tip-off from Prince George’s County Schools security personnel.

The student, who will be charged as an adult, is facing charges of carrying a handgun, possession of a dangerous weapon on school property, having a loaded handgun on his person, and other related offenses.
