Camden Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Illegal Firearms Sales in South Jersey

CAMDEN, NJ – Morris County officials have announced the sentencing of Antony S. Rodriguez-Santana, a 30-year-old man from Camden, New Jersey. He has been sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison, with a stipulation that he must serve at least five years before becoming eligible for parole.

Rodriguez-Santana entered a guilty plea on September 12, 2023, to second-degree Certain Persons Not to Have Firearms, violating New Jersey statute N.J.S.A. 2C:39-7(b)(1). He was officially sentenced by the Honorable Judge Ralph E. Amirata on October 13, 2023, to 10 years in state prison, with a five-year parole ineligibility period.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation led by the Morris County Special Enforcement Unit.


During this investigation, Rodriguez-Santana was found to have sold multiple firearms and ammunition, including a Smith & Wesson MP .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle, a defaced Raven Arms model P25 .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, hollow-point bullets, and a large-capacity magazine. Notably, Rodriguez-Santana had previously been convicted of aggravated assault.
