Stafford Township Announces Temporary Road Closure for Construction

Stafford Township, NJ – The Stafford Township Police Department has issued a traffic alert regarding a temporary road closure affecting the area around Jennifer and Morris. The closure will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to accommodate construction work by MSP Construction.

During this period, traffic will be rerouted around the construction site. Authorities have assured that the detour will not affect bus stops and will cover only a small area. A detailed map outlining the detour route and alternative traffic flow has been provided to assist drivers. Additionally, police officers will be on site to facilitate smooth traffic flow and minimize disruptions.

The construction project is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 weeks, with the initial week necessitating the detour. Work will commence on Jennifer and is planned to extend towards Jonathan Drive, potentially leading to a single-lane configuration and alternating traffic flow. While some delays are anticipated, the impact on overall traffic is predicted to be minimal.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly during the construction period and to stay informed about traffic updates and potential changes to the project timeline.
