Violent Home Invader Attacked Occupants, Arrested by Pollice

FREDERICK, MARYLAND — The Frederick Police Department reported the arrest of Quentin Bassey, a Silver Spring, MD resident, following a residential burglary incident on February 28. Officers were called to the scene in the 1400 block of Mobley Ct after receiving reports of a male forcefully entering a home.

Upon arrival, police located a male matching the suspect’s description and identified him as Bassey, born on November 9, 2005. The investigation uncovered that Bassey had entered the home of someone he knew, attempted to assault the occupants, and then stole property before attempting to escape.

Bassey faces multiple charges, including first and third-degree burglary, home invasion, first-degree assault, malicious destruction of property, reckless endangerment, and theft. He has been detained at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center without the option of bond.
