Laurel Man Critically Injured in Broad Daylight Shooting

LAUREL, MD – A shooting incident in Laurel has left a 27-year-old man critically injured. The incident occurred on March 23, at around 4:00 PM, in the 100 block of Lauren Drive. Police, upon arrival, found the victim with a gunshot wound to his torso and provided immediate medical assistance.

He was then rushed to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in a critical condition. Witnesses reported a silver SUV fleeing the scene shortly after the incident. Western District detectives are leading the investigation and urge anyone with information to call 410-222-6155.
